“SIBLINGS” TO BECOME NEWEST ADDITION TO PUYALLUP’S PUBLIC ART COLLECTION
“Siblings” - the bronze sculpture by Portland artist Olinka Broadfoot – that we purchased late last year for Puyallup’s permanent collection will be officially donated to the city at the Puyallup City Council meeting on Tuesday evening, March 6. There will be an artist reception outside council chambers at 5:30.
Ms. Broadfoot was born in Prague, Czech Republic, and for many years divided her professional work between her homeland and the US. She describes “Siblings” as “symbolic of “the connections between people”.
“Siblings” is located in Pioneer Park just to the southeast of the library.
